Question How set are Blizzard Beach Refurb Dates?

I know Blizzard Beach is closed for refurb until March 16th, but I am surprising DD with a quick trip for her 7th birthday which is coincidentally March 16th. We'll fly home on the morning of teh 17th.

She's only ever been to Typhoon Lagoon as we thought she would like it better when she was younger, but now she wants to try BB. Just wondering if anyone has a feel from previous years if there might be a chance if BB could open up earlier or does Disney pretty much stick with advertised dates for standard refurbs?

Thanks for any help you may offer!

PJ

I'm sure Cheshire Figment will be by but they are pretty well set.

Due to how staffing is done, they would need to know 3 weeks before hand that they were going to be done early in order to get the shifts together. Also I think the week starts on a Sunday.

Also they do this refurb every year and I think the know exactly how much time they need.

That's what I was figuring, but a parent can hope right?

1) Places like TL and BB get a yearly rehab.
2) They are pretty good at estimating the repair time by now.
3) I would not look for early completion dates.

Those of us who do not stay with the water parks over the winter are deployed until and through March 16th. The locations expect us to remain there until that date and are able to schedule us accordingly.

We are back on the schedule at the water parks starting March 17.

That's what I figured but had to ask. Guess we'll have to try again in June. :-)
