I think this is posted in the wrong forum but ... Best is very subjective ... I love them both for different reasons.

We love both too for different reasons. BCV is our home resort. Stormalong bay is nice, short walk to epcot, can walk to HS. Love the colors in the rooms ( we live in NE and camp so at first WL
held no appeal to us- too much like home but more on that in a minute). BCV is great at busy times when you want to visit epcot or hs. Bus service however is horrid in my opinion. We have grown to love vwl too. So restful and lots of trails to walk. It is our go-to resort when dh and I want to get away alone unless is f and w . their quiet pool is great and their hottub by quiet pool much better than BCV. Water parade at night. I could say more about both but I'm sure no one wants to read a long post-lol. Would be glad to answer any specific questions if you have any.

I have to say that I have not had the opportunity to stay at the Wilderness Lodge yet, but if you want to be off of the beaten path, this is the place to be. Seems like it would be hard to get from place to place, but I can't really say for sure. BCV is one of my absolute favorites for the atmosphere and the convenience to Epcot. I love that we can just walk over there and not have to wait for any type of transportation. Same for the Studios, however, that is a MUCH longer walk. The pool at BCV is awesome. There is something for everyone in the group. Let us know what you decided!

We've stayed at both and both are great resorts. The WL is great as it's convenient to MK via boat as well as to the CR where you can shop and/or dine there and then hop on the monorail to visit the Poly and GF. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great, and Roaring Forks is great for quick CS meals/snacks. The lobby is also a great place to sit and take in the beautiful surroundings. WL is a great choice for a deluxe resort as it has all of the amenities of the other deluxes, but is quite a bit cheaper than the monorail and Epcot resorts.

The BC is also a beautiful resort that is conveniently located within walking distance to both Epcot and DHS. The rooms are slightly larger than WL, SAB is fun, and Cape May Cafe is great for both breakfast and dinner. The boardwalk is also close by for nightly entertainment or just walking around.

Good luck deciding, but you really can't go wrong with either one as they are both great places to stay.

We have sated at CB, Poly, AS, Cont. and WL. Without a doubt WL is our favorite. Our 2 boys now know it as "our" resort because they love the atmosphere and we are all extremely happy. We are at a point in our lives that we could stay anywhere from Grand Floridian to All Star resorts but the past 4 trips have all been at "our" Wilderness Lodge.

Mickeynut is completely right - we have stayed at both and LOVED both. The pool at BC is superior and the bustle of the boardwalk and the easy access to Epcot and DHS is sooo wonderful. Also, the decor of the hotel and rooms are lovely. But WL is so peaceful and beautiful - I adore taking the boat to MK and elsewhere. You're very insulated and it's very nice to have that after the bustle of the parks. One possible consideration would be that some WL rooms have bunk beds while BC does not. Maybe you should do a split stay and see which one you prefer! Either way you'll have an awesome trip!
