Merida meet and greet

Can anyone tell me about the Merida Meet and Greet? Is it a super long line like it was to meet Rapunzel a couple of years back? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

In the Magic Kingdom, her Meet and Greet is right across from Cosmic Rays. The line can be long, especially on hotter days when she has to go in and out to cool off.

The line has a queue and it does unofficially extend up the path towards the castle when it is longer. That said, it does move. The kids, when you get into the meet and greet area, can do the archery stuff with the CM while you are in line, and once you get to Merida, she's awesome. She'll have a small conversation with you, sign the autograph book if you have one and take pictures.

Hope this helps!

It is not nearly as bad as Rapunzel's M&G. Two years ago, we practically ran to Rapunzel's M&G at opening and were the last family to make it into the first "show". Last year, we did the same for Merida, and were family #4 or 5. We checked back in all day long and her line was always at about 20 people, whereas Rapunzel's would stretch all the way up the side of the castle.

Don't want to hijack but want to piggyback. Would it be ok to do ETWB and then come back to meet Merida then? The line would not be too insane? We would be there at RD on a non-EMH Saturday morning (this coming Saturday actually).

Probably not. Regardless, it is the right strategy to do ETWB first and then Merida.

So am I understanding correctly? Merida is now where Rapunzel used to be? If so, is there any where to meet Rapunzel now?

Yes, yes, and yes. Rapunzel meets at the front of MK in Town Square Theater. FastPasses are available.

The line was a bit long, but totaly worth it. It was our best meet and greet by far when we were there in february.

Also, definitely go see Rapunzel as she leaves later in the afternoon. The FP is a great way to get through the princess line quickly.

We waited 10 minutes around 4pm last August. I waited longer for the princesses with a FP.

We waited about 30 min prob an hour after rope drop last October. It was fantastic though! The archery was great, coloring too...Merida herself was probably the best character IMO. I have the best pic of my daughter doing the archery and making a funny concentration face....worth the wait!
