Congrats on your trip!

I am also totally OCD about getting my house spotless before we go on any trip. All laundry and dishes done, all beds made and everything else in it's place.

Something about coming home to a spotless house helps with the post-trip blues.

Plus, we bring home so much mess...piles of laundry, stuff to unpack....it's nice to not have mess on top of mess!

I'm OCD, too, when it comes to having my house perfect when we leave for a trip! There's nothing worse than coming home to a messy house. We don't leave until April 22nd! So far away! Have fun...

We're 5 days out! I'm starting to get that nervous-I-can't-sleep syndrome!

I'm also trying very hard to keep the secret from my husband that I booked him an In Room Celebration for his birthday!

Haha...my husband thinks I'm nuts too. Clean floors, clean sheets, clean dishes, no laundry, etc. If it's not clean, I'm almost panicked about it when I leave, so it must be done. Makes for a more enjoyable send off.

we leave Saturday too and didn't sleep hardly at all last night...keep running my lists through my head

pretty much packed and to - do list is sitting on my counter do I don't forget anything!

at least we can still DIS to help pass the time

going to clean house tomorrow and change sheets!

Same here! DH gives me this look, you know the "I don't want to hear another word about our touring plan until we get there" look.

We are taking DD's best friend to WDW, this will be her 1st big trip anywhere (she is the oldest of 7 girls). DH told me if I act like Tour Group Barbie on our trip, he will stop talking to me. He is joking, but I do tend to talk about Disney a lot.

I would give anything to get my house clean before we leave on a trip. But with five (mostly little) kiddos, my focus has shifted from making the beds, to frantically making sure everyone has fully charged ipods, tablets, and DS's and their coordinating car chargers. There just isn't enough elbow room in the old minivan for bored kids! Anyway, we now usually come home to an epic disaster that we created ourselves trying to leave on time... so depressing!

I'm hoping since we are planning to go right after Thanksgiving this year, I can use the Thanksgiving break (and a little child labor- he, he!) to get the house in good shape before we go!

Finishing up all of our laundry tonight and packing most of everything up after DS is asleep. Thank goodness we have a big walk in closet because it's absolutely full of stuff for the trip right now.

We're leaving early Saturday morning, hoping to not run into TOO much traffic. It can be awful at times, getting out of Vegas (the last time we went, it took two hours to make the normally roughly 40 minute drive to Primm/Stateline), but I'm hoping if we leave early enough, we can beat at least some of it.
