Money Saving Tip : Renaissance Hotel at Seaworld - The DIS Discussion Forums

Just found out about something that is going to save me a bit of money next year that I thought I would share with you guys.

I was looking for prices for the Marriott Renaissance Hotel at Seaworld, and noticed they had a special rate for Marriott reward club members (which I am). The rate itself is no cheaper than another special rate that they were publicising, but the members rate included free parking (it is usually $16 a day). I was looking to stay for 6 nights, so that is going to save me £60.

Also, if you are not a Marriott rewards member already, you can sign up to be a member without staying at one of their hotels first (I did that before my trip to a Marriott hotel last week).

Not sure if there are other deals for other Marriott hotels in the Orlando area, but I thought this should be shared.

Also check other sites rather than booking direct.
I just did a quick check for our dates next Easter (8th-15th Apr)
Rate for Marriott reward club members $233 +tax/nt = £163/nt
Otel.com £416 less 10% facebook code, less 6% Quidco = £352 or £50/nt
