Maybe right as they open or for a late lunch when they might be less crowded? I know it's crazy, but I just have to ask.
I did a walk up Easter Week but it was way back in 2001.

We were just there last week. We had a 12:15 reservation and showed up at 11:45. We were told they were all booked and would not be able to accomodate us any earlier. Another couple walked up and was told there were no openings. It doesn't hurt to try.

The menu they have up now is current. It will probably change by January. We don't have any idea what the prices will be on the signature lunch but I would not be surprised to see Le Cellier go to an all-day menu.

Thanks, everyone! I'll just keep checking the site. If I get a reservation, then great. Otherwise, we will just show up as soon as they open and ask. Maybe we'll be one of the lucky few.

We've eaten there maybe 4 times with ADRs. Each and every time, someone will do a walk up and ask for a table. They've turned down people each and every time.

There is also a CM there....she looks like the smart sister from Modern Family. She will say no to you in a haughty way...almost like she's exasperated you'd think you could walk up and eat at Le Cellier. She's so pompous that every time we hear her say "no" to someone we have to stifle laughter (not at the person asking, but at her pretentiousness).

The wait there is usually 20- 30 min, even with an ADR.

I say try it! We hadn't heard of Le Cellier our last trip in October 2010. We actually hadn't heard of many restaurants that were non-characters as I hadn't done a ton of planning. Anyway, we were hungry, walked by and decided to ask if they had any openings. They sat us right then!!! After reading about it and hearing how popular it was, I was shocked we got so lucky!!! It was probably 1:00 if that matters.

I would definitley try, but just make sure you have a back up plan. My aunt has gone to Disney over 15 times and has never once been able to walk in to Lecellier. She does go at busier times though. Halloween, Spring break usually. We have done LeCellier every trip, but always with an ADR. With the new credit card policies you might see something up closer to your date. I would keep checking online.

The Command considers us a bunch of losers. But we’re gonna do it right this time, ’cause we’re the best. If we don’t... We’ll be drummed out of the corps.

Halloween, start of Jersey Week, a marathon that weekend, end of Food and Wine, last of the Halloween parties, first of MVMCP, and the start of the light show at MGM... I'd say your chances are about zero.

We ate at LC two weeks ago - we had a first opening ADR. A couple celebrating their anniversary were able to score a table as walk-in's but a family of 4 that came right after them were turned away. Both times the hostess went to speak with the manager. Both groups came before opening. I'd keep trying for an ADR but also swing by and be there definitely before it opens!

Just snagged an ADR at 1:10. So excited! I was worried it'd disappear before I could confirm it.

We've got a dinner reservation at LC on our arrival day, and well as it turns out we're on a later flight than we normally would take...arriving MCO 4 p.m. ADR at 6:10 p.m. I don't want to cancel, but with the credit card charge I may have to since trying to be realistic I don't know that we'll make it. I keep thinking sure we can get luggage and rental car then go straight to EPCOT for dinner, and check-in later at BLT. We've never ate here before, and was determined to eat here this trip. Why oh why did I plan it on our arrival day?!?
