crowd calendar

where's the best/easiest site to find a crowd calendar? also, what are your thoughts on attending extra magic hours if you don't have a hopper?

We will be traveling mid-late october.

EasyWDW, free and easy. Rationale is also provided.

EMH is fine with or without hopper, but the key is to be there at the beginning of AM EMH or be willing to stay until the end of PM EMH.

I agree with Mesaboy (resistance is futile), but with an addendum. If you don't like crowds or longer lines during the middle of the day, then you may want to choose one of the recommended parks on the crowd calendar instead.

The crowd calendars will almost always recommend one of the parks that does NOT have EMH because they will have lower crowds that day. As someone who routinely doesn't hop, this is how we tend to roll.

Is it too early to plan what park to visit based on April 2014 crowd calendars?

Because the huge Easter and Spring break crowds are such a big factor in March and April, trying to base next year's crowd predictions on this year's (2013) calendars really doesn't work. The calendars for February were just posted a couple of days ago, so it looks like you still have a couple of months to wait for April. Bearing in mind that things can change in 6 months or so, you can make your plans then, and then occasionally re-check the crowd calendars for revised hours/recommendations.
