MVMCP Tickets with DVC Discount - The DIS Discussion Forums

Has anyone tried to book MVMCP tickets via the DVC website? it appears to give the discount but is not giving the option to pick up the tickets at Will Call, its only shipping options are US rates or international postage at $25 which then makes any discount pointless, anybody had any luck booking online?

Never tried to book online, just called MS's - quick and easy. The only option to get the tickets is will call when booking with the DVC discount, according to the CM I spoke to.

We have have always bought our tickets onsite or e-tickets via the website no problem.

I don't know if there's some obvious link somewhere but if there is, I've never found it

I always have to find the tickets 'creatively'.

Log on to your dvc member page.

Go to the Member Privileges tab and select Member Perks, then select WDW on the left hand side menu which should give you a link in the main area for 'WDW Annual Pass savings and more Disney Magic'.

Click on that and then again on "Walt Disney World Disney World Annual Pass Savings".

At the bottom of the section with all the AP blurb there is a link for you to buy the DVC AP from the WDW ticket store. Click that and it'll open a new window for DVC purchases.

At the top of that new page with the AP options there is a drop down menu that will currently say "Annual Passes". You can then switch that "Special Events" and you will get the DVC discounted Party tickets available to buy instead.

Like I say, I'm sure there must be an easier way to get to that page - but if there is, it must be well hidden!

I don't think there is an easier way I had to write it down and keep it as I can never remember the exact route to take.

What link did you use, as the DVC website offers no eticket option? And still offering DVC discount?

We can get to the page, but don't get the option of etickets, does anybody else get anything different?

Just tried the web site again and got the will call option! All booked and with the DVC discount!

If you link to the ticket store via the DVC web site the price should already reflect the discount. A previous post described how to link to it.

i did that but it just shows normal pricing, not dvc discounted

I'll double check, it may be only certain nights that attract the DVC discount. Not sure but will confirm. Correct me if anybody knows?…

EDIT - Just checked, the nights that the DVC discount is offered is November the 9th, 12th, 15th, 25th, 27th, 29th and then December 2nd, 4th, 6th and the 11th. You must pre purchase these tickets, they can not be bought on the night.
