Halloween spooktackular times??
Does anyone know what time the halloween festivities start?? We are going to be at seaworld on Sunday OCT 21 and I would like to do dine with Shamu. We are heading home after the park closes at 8 so getting a big dinner would be a nice plus, but my kids will want to collect candy. DWS is at 12:30 or 5:30. Which do you think would be a better bet?

We are going on Saturday, October 20 and booked Dine with Shamu for 5:30. We would rather have the big buffet meal for dinner than lunch. I believe that the festivities pretty much go on all day, but I don't know exactly when they start (i.e. when the park opens or on a slight delay).

We went a couple of years ago and I don't remember when the special stuff started but it was late afternoon at the earliest. The special show starts at 2 so maybe it is starting then?? I somehow thought I remembers @ 4pm the last time. I was hoping someone might have a better idea.

Went today. Two treat stations ran out of candy. Park was not overly crowded. It just seemed like SW really cheaped out this year. No bananas, fewer types of candy offered. M&M's, tiny packages of candy corn, twizzler, raisins and smarties. Good thing it is included in admission LOL

They ran out?? lol
Good to know about the crowds. Disney was rated high so we went to Universal and IOA. IOA was very busy and Universal was in certain areas. So I figured Sea World was probably bad too. We're gonna pop by tomorrow I think. Did they have bananas last year? Where were they?

We went last year and it started at noon. The stations behind the stadium had mini bananas and peanuts, which we enjoyed. We plan on going next week and doing the DWS.

It was pretty busy yesterday. The crowds seemed to come and go though. One minute there would be massive lines and the next minute no one in line.
I agree they are getting cheaper on things. The M&M guy in the EVC was a total grouch. They should put him somewhere else where he doesn't interact with kids. I felt sorry for the guy who was working next to him.The rest of the workers were all fabulous and very friendly. It's a cute event and we had fun. Can't really complain when it's all included in the admission. It's not something worth making a special trip for though.

Did they still have the dance party and the maze? My son loves the maze for some reason. Don't suppose you caught the prices of the face painting or cookie decorating if they still have those? |
