We have some friends who just brought home a little boy from Bulgaria. He had kidney surgery earlier this week, but had to be put in the ICU last night. He is clinging to life. He would have already been dead if he was still in his orphanage. Please pray for him, his name is Gavin. Thanks guys.

Prayers for a local family as a chapter has closed. In late 2010, an acquaintance was murdered by his half-brother. I coached his younger daughter in soccer and officiated his older daughter's basketball games. I knew his wife through work - we are a small town. Today, he finally pled guilty and was sentenced to 40 years in prison. She is relieved that she didn't have to sit through the trial and relive all that.

Certainly will be praying for the family. They are the innocent victims in all of this sounds like

Thanks. They are two great girls. I know there mom did what she could for them, but I imagine the stress of a pending trial for 2 1/2 years took its toll on her.
