Question Which park for a single day @ Disney??

My kiddos will be 14, 12, 8 and 7 at the time of travel and we are looking to add on a single day after our cruise. The hotel @ MCO is $300 for a night so for a little more we can add on tix and a disney stay. Just wondering for their first visit to a disney park where you would go?

I'm thinking Magic Kingdom, DH is pushing for HS because he wants to go on the Aerosmith ride, hoppers aren't an option, we won't be arriving until late morning. Think it's worth it to see which park has later hours?

Attention: There's a '71 Castle in the Hub with its lights on!

I second Magic Kingdom,it has the most for all ages and will keep you busy all day. While HS is good, especially if you like the thrill rides like Aerosmith and Tower of Terror, there is a lot of shows at HS.So for a one day Disney experience Magic Kingdom best, plus there is space mountain and thunder mountain for roller coasters.Have fun

It all depends on what your family wants and how old your children are! I love HS and MK, we are going to MK for our Princess Weekend in May but if it was me and DH we would go to HS for our 1 day!
Going for a girls weekend to Magic Kingdom May 2013 and then the whole family for a week in November 2014

My vote definitely goes for MK! I'm a huge fan of the thrill rides too, but HS can't hold a candle to the magical feeling of walking down Main Street and seeing the castle. MK is such a classic I feel like there's no way a Disney trip (no matter the length) is complete without a visit.

Magic Kingdom for sure. While all the Disney parks are worth visiting, none have the same degree of magic that the Magic Kingdom does.
