What do you pre-purchase
So i have lodging, tickets, and my photopass+ all ready purchased for our trip in Feb. What else do you guys recommend for pre trip purchases to help easy the costs upfront. WE will be taking snacks/drinks as well. Just trying to see if I'm overlooking something. THX

Gift cards for food/souvies since we use our target red card (5% off).

Do you have kids? I usually buy shirts and some other Disney toys that I give them when we arrive. Once I got sunglasses. It helps keep them from asking for souvenirs and is much cheaper.

I have all the funds I have budgeted for meals and snacks in gift cards already purchased plus vouchers for character meals. So the bank account shouldn't have a hit at all. Plus I get cute tees at disney store for "Tink" to leave at night for dd. And then we only souvie shop the last day for 1 special thing. Also cuts down on extra spending. I have cash set aside for mouse keeping tips and incidentals that I can't use gift cards.

 & princess Abby (8 y.o.) Two trips as a kid, stayed off-site. Oct '07, 4 days @ DLH, dh, dd & I. May '08, 5 days "girls only trip" @ GCH dm, dd & I. May '09, 6 days @ DLH, dh, dd & I. October '10, 5 day trip, dd and I @ PPH. And 6 days--December 5-10, 2012 for all 3 of us! OMG--dare I say it? We are going to attempt to go to the World!! May 6-15, 2014 (with a dash of the Darkside thrown in for good measure.) |

Christmas is our first trip but I have gotten a few disney things to have when we go the first morning....I got my kids a disney water bottle and that will also help with the cost of drinks and I went ahead and ordered them autograph books and a few pins and a lanyard...I'm debating on shirts now

I bought light up toys once it gets dark, we have some flashing necklaces and a halloween stick that had mickey and minnie.

I always purchase a Disney Gift card for myself and put a couple hundred dollars on it. I use that when purchasing items. I do that instead of having to use my credit/debit card. I've become very particular about that at the park. You just never know what might happen.

Thx for the replies. Yes I have DD5 at time of trip. We r going first week feb sad so many closures but we will do the best with what we have
ok so next plan of action pick couple G.C. And some souvenirs /Tink gifts-cute ideas!
