Character Breakfast

Is it possible to do CM character breakfast early enough to make MK rope drop? Our trip is in April and The park opens at 9. I don't know the hours of WDW restaurants and I am trying to plan out ADRs.
Thanks!

I think it would depend on how busy the parks are projected to be. Like, we were there last year during Jersey Week and 'Ohana opened at 7:30 AM and Chef Mickey's opened at 7 AM (I think). So, yes, it is possible. I don't know that 1900 Park Fare opens before 8 AM.

Thank you! How long does a character breakfast usually last? If rope drop is 9.....do I want the 7am res or can I chance 7:30? Or maybe don't chance and do CM breakfast on our non park day? Oy decisions!

just make your ADR'S early as can. say like 6:30 or 7 AM you can go ahead into the park to eat but most have the park itself roped off until the exact time. or they do at HS and at MK and AK.. so that makes it fair for every one

Yes it is. We normally have breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:05 and are always finished before 9:00. And the best part is that you are already in Magic Kingdom! Make sure that you take some pictures in front of the castle before they drop the rope!

Ohhh I was thinking Chef Mickey's! I didn't even think of Crystal Palace- that definitely sounds beneficial if it has the right characters lol.

Like PP said, Crystal Palace would be a great choice. Or CRT. It's more expensive but it's a good option as well. Plus, you'd be pretty close to Fantasyland when you're done.

We have reservations for the Crystal Palace at 8:05 (the first ressie of the day, the park opens at 9); the characters there are the Pooh characters. And like the previous poster said, you can get into the MK early and take pictures in front of the castle with virtually no one on Main Street! After breakfast we'll already be in the park!!

Oh it looks pooh themed? I know my kids will want Mickey and gang so maybe a 7:45 at chef Mickey? Or 7:30?

I'm also restless about BOG! I want to try it so bad but don't want to take away from park time since we only have 3 day passes!!!

If you are set on Chef Mickey's, I would do a late breakfast, like 10:30 on an AM EMH day. Like 10:30 AM. You could ride rides for an hour and a half or so, go eat breakfast and then come back OR you could do dinner there at the end of your MK day. We've never gotten out of Chef Mickey's in under an hour--right at a couple of times. However, by the time you walk over to MK, it's closer to 15-30 minutes and I would probably say closer to 30 min. with all your kiddos.

We only have 3 park days and one nothing day
What about
Ep day counter service and Biergarten dinner
MK day counter service options
Ak/hs day counter service
Nothing day chef Mickey breakfast and Ohana dinner to view water parade and fireworks (is this possible)
I don't want reservations holding us up in the parks since we don't have much park time (plan to break during mid days already).

I need to check travel times again, but if possible to add one more ADR for arrival night..... What do you suggest? With Two toddler kids

Your nothing day sounds great, but I would do it in the middle. Also make your 'Ohana reservation for before the fireworks, etc. You might not be given a seat near the windows so you may need to go down to the beach.
