My Points reversal?

I have been a member of My Points for awhile now and have never had this happen before. I purchased from 2 different retailers last week, and have already received the items. The points showed up as pending in my account so no problem.

I signed in yesterday and now for both those transactions they are showing reversals. I have an email into My Points but not sure how long it will take to hear back.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen. Should add that I did not return these items or anything either.

I have never had reversals unless I returned something on My points. I have however had them not credit points they should and had to contact them with the information about the missing points many, many, times. They get back with you in about 24 hours and are good about fixing the problem. It sounds like some glitch caused the points to reverse and I wouldn't doubt if they ended up credited again later without an email. If 30 days has not passed they will most likely ask you to wait the 30 days and contact them then if the points are still not given.

I have had this happen. I sent an email and they responded that it was reversed because I had returned the purchase. I didnt, but How do you prove that you DIDN't do something? I finally got the points, but it took a very long time, and alot of emails.

That's odd. I guess My Points could ask both retailers to prove that I did return the items.

I have never had a problem with them before either. Always get my points. I used to alternate between them and Sunshine Rewards, but a lot of times I never got my shopping credit from SR. It was always hit or miss.

Since we're discussing MyPoints, does anyone else get the emails from Avon that claim to offer points (the last one was 3000 for a $30 purchase) but in small writing at the bottom of the email it says points are not Mypoints and cannot be used for rewards - huh? What the heck are the points then? Avon doesn't have a points program as far as I can tell. I'm very confused...
