How to determine best reward (Swag vs. Ebates)

For example, my son uses ProActive.
On Swagbucks the reward is 2000 swagbucks (plus a 'bonus' prize--don't know what that is)
on Ebates the reward is 30% cash back!

The basic three step Proactive is $20, so I figure that's $6 cash back from Ebates, but is there a way to figure what a Swagbuck is worth in cash terms?

With Swagbucks you can get a $5 Amazon card for 450 swagbucks. So you can get more than $20 back on your purchase. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

I always get the $5 amazon for 450 swagbucks but you can only get 5 per month just fyi. If you want others-Target, paypal, etc it is 500 swagbucks for $5 giftcard.

It's hard to decide sometimes on which site, isn't it? I love ebates, but I'm really starting to love swagbucks now. I always do the amazon certificates, too. Can't beat easy money!

Im not sure if you are aware of this but Swagbucks now ONLY offers gift cards as rewards. it's been that way for almost a month now because 99% of the rewards they give out end up being gift cards.

Where did you find proactive on swagbucks?

I've searched to try to buy through their site and can't find it anywhere.

Either I don't know where to look or it was a special offer that's not available anymore.

Thanks for helping me if it's still there!

I think it was a special offer that just popped up on my home page. I've looked again and can't find it either. Sorry.
