Usually black friday specials are not adjustable. Meaning they won't honor an adjustment on a previously bought item.

If you find a place that's NOT Wal-mart or Sears, you can try taking the ad to Walmart or Sears *DURING the sale hours*!!! and asking them to match it. Depending on the time of day, those stores may be less hectic. *MAY*. Example-- If TRU has the system you want on sale starting at 3am-5am, Walmart will usually match it at that time... at 2:59 or 5:01, they DEFINITELY WON'T. During the window, they may or may not try to pull the "if the other store has it in stock, and they're sold out by now, I bet" card. That just depends on how grumpy the cashiers/managers are that day. If what you want is a new release that is available before BF, but potentially cheaper ON BF, you might consider buying it before BF, then trying for it cheap on BF... if you succeed, return the first one, if not, at least you're not stuck with the empty-shelf-blues. I did this last year with the crayola glow dome (only a $5 difference, but hey, times 2, that's $10...) Also did this with the Target toy clearance. I bought everything I wanted, then just kept checking back... if I found it cheaper, I had the receipt in my wallet and just kept buying the cheaper one and returning it with the higher receipt-- all while the original purchase sat, wrapped, in the closet. Not something that was worth the extra gas, but I was there anyway, and it ended up saving me around $50 over the course of the sale. |

Macy's already has a $10 off $25 Black Friday coupon for 23-24 November 2012. I found it on Google
Will search more deals for more brands and post here if I find any. |

Anyone know if the cell phone providers usually run specials on BF?
I'm with AT&T and want to upgrade my phone --hopefully to an iphone. I'm guessing that such an in demand item won't be on sale, but maybe a nice bundle of accessories? Worth waiting? |

I just upgraded to an iPhone 4S last week-and I was wondering the same the same thing. Both apple & AT&T said that they don't really have any deals. It's just thAt when the new iPhone comes out, the previous 2 models are discounted. So, with a 2 yr agreement, you could get iPhone 5 for $200, the 4s for $99, and the 4 for 99 cents. The last time I upgraded was Black Friday 2 years ago & it was the same type of deal. So there's no need to wait.
