Ships decorated for Christmas
Does anyone know when they typically decorate the ships for the holidays? I would love to take a trip when the ship is all decorated.

Other posters have noted the decorations are put into place around November 4-6 and the ships are fully decorated with the completion of the gingerbread houses a week or two later.

Anyone know how long they leave the decorations up? If we are sailing late in December to you think they would still be up?

The decorations are FULLY completed before Thanksgiving. They actually start a couple weeks before that. They will come down at the end of the New Years cruise.
We have boarded on Jan 3 and 5 in different years and found them completely down. We've also done a last night stroll on a holiday cruise and found them taking things down. |

Last year we sailed on the 11/12/11 Disney Magic cruise (week before Thanksgiving). Decorations were up and were told they put them up that morning before we boarded the ship. They worked on making the ginger bread house all week and it was completed by the final night of the cruise.
