Garden Grove Dinner- Characters?

I was looking at my reservation for this weekend, and noticed that next to my time for dinner at Garden Grove is says that dinner includes characters. We're eating there on Friday night, and don't see this listed on any other sites. Is this a Disney typo, or are there usually characters for dinner?

On the Swan's website there's a picture of Pluto. I've read reviews that say it's usually characters from The Lion King or Pluto & Goofy.

EDA: "The young at heart will also enjoy Disney character dining at dinner nightly and for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays." as per the Swan's website.

Although the characters sometimes vary, usually characters appearing at Garden Grove for dinner are either Rafiki & Timon or Goofy & Pluto.

On Monday & Friday nights, the scheduled characters are Timon & Rafiki. For the rest of the week, the characters are Goofy & Pluto.

I thought I had read that Mickey and Chip & Dale were there? Is this old news? That might be a deciding factor for us. (We have some Chip & Dale fans here.) No offense to either Rafiki or Timon.

Garden GRILL has Chip and Dale, Garden GROVE is different.

You may be thinking of the Garden Grill at Epcot. That character meal is still there & the characters are Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale. (for dinner only, though; they discontinued lunch). The Garden Grove is at the Swan hotel and the characters rotate (Timon & Rafiki on Monday/Friday, Goofy & Pluto the rest of the week). Both of these are excellent dinners and both offer characters that you don't see at other character meals - The only character meal with Chip & Dale is the Garden Grill and the only character meal with Timon/Rafiki is the Garden Grove.
