New Years Eve is still 2014, isn't it? New Years would be 2015.

I've got CRT booked for NYE, but will probably change to something at Epcot. Since Narcoossee's is charging $318 per person that night, I suspect California Grill will be ridiculous, too.

The cost for the NYE dinner at California Grill is 595.00 per person. This price is the child's price as well.

Narcoossee's is 186.75 for adults and 87.15 for children ages 3-9.

Where did you get the cost for California Grill? Narcoossee's is $187 for the early seating (up to 6:30) but $318 for the later seating.

Sounds like a valid source

Was my second seating information correct? Can you recommend any other, more affordable options? The dine agent I spoke with this morning was surprised to find anything, but didn't seem knowledgable of all options.

Yes, you are correct. The 2nd seating at Narcoossees list prices are :New Prices Effective 12/31/2014 Adult: $317.48, Child: $118.28.

The Flying Fish was more reasonable at Adult: $84.14, Child: $28.76

Let me know if you're interested in any others and I can pull up the prices for you.

Also - Epcot is doing a special event at the World Showplace pavillion for Adult: $68.67, Child: $44.37,
Details are below.

Welcome to Fantasia 2014: The dining experience for New Year’s Eve at EPCOT.

Enjoy a wonderful custom dinner buffet as you dine in this unique venue and listen to background music from Disney classics. Fantasia 2014 is decorated with set pieces representing scenes and nostalgia from Disney’s classic feature films Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. Fantasia 2014 is an experience to delight your whole family. After dinner head to the World ShowPlace promenade ready to welcome in the New Year with a fireworks spectacular in true Disney style!

Since you're on the inside, I've got 2 questions for ya!

According to the Narcoossee's dining page on the Disney site the dinner requires a ticket to Epcot. Is that incorrect or is there some sort of tie-in to the NYE fireworks? (And thus the higher price for the 2nd event?)

There seems to be 2 parties for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party on the 30th and the 31st (NYE) - Is there anything special going on for them or are they just serving the usual desserts both times?

Thanks!

Well, that seems weird. Let me get on my other laptop where I have the HUB loaded. I'll look into both of your questions and get back to you in a few. I'm getting ready to load the dishwasher and portion out leftovers for the week so give me a sec. Sorry if that was TMI!

I don't see Fantasia 2014 listed online anywhere, but I was able to call and book it today.
