There is a mug refill station at the Bakery. I'm pretty sure the bartender at the pool bar will refill it also.

Studio villas are located all over the villa side of the resort, most attached to a one bedroom villa to make a two bedroom. There are some dedicated studios that overlook the lawn area between the boardwalk itself and the hotel lobby.

Also, in the morning you can get coffee at the indoor bar. They will have 2 blends. Also pastries and fruit. Belle Vue Lounge. It is right off the lobby area.

This new schedule starts the day we arrive, in one week. I'll post if I find out more information while there.

Beginning 6/22/14: The monorail will have a different operating schedule than normal as an automation upgrade takes place. An automated monorail will allow for faster switching times, more frequent dispatching of trains, and accurate arrival information. Additional buses and watercraft will be available during this time. This schedule will be in place for a few months, but no specific end date has been set. The schedule will be:

Epcot - 9:00am-11:00pm

Resort monorail - 9:30am-11:30pm

Express monorail - 8:30am-midnight.
Outside of these hours, alternate watercraft and bus transportation is available.

I'm a bit late with this, but thank you all for the kind comments about posting the photos on Thursday - it was my pleasure and many thanks again to HARASW for taking them and emailing them to me so promptly.

Are you there yet?! We arrive at YC one week from today. We'd still LOVE to see any post-rehab photos you're willing to post

Hope someone gets the three days at the BWV - studio/SV. Good luck.
Umm, they do know about that beach by Crescent Lake, Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon? Silly kids…

Welcome and I'll add your dates to the BoardWalk Bulletin. Here's a recap of mug refill locations from the DINING section of the thread:

DRINK REFILLS are available at BoardWalk Bakery, BoardWalk Joe's, The BoardWalk Pizza Window, Seashore Sweets and Leaping Horse Libations. Coffee refills are available at Belle Vue Lounge.

That was my argument as well, but I was voted off the island. At least I still get three days at BWV, and did have another trip to WDW earlier this year. Something about wanting to go in the ocean.

Ocean schmocean. I'm glad you're looking on the bright side, but do they know about those water parks? It's almost like being in the ocean, but without the sharks, garbage and salt

Again, more completely valid arguments. I tried to hold them off as long as possible, hoping those days would no longer be available. Vero Beach Resort is nice as well, but it isn't the Boardwalk. I hoping the "absence makes the heart grow fonder" argument will work, and we can return to the BWV next year.

They usually go up around that time. With Thanksgiving being a little later this year, it might be hard to say. Maybe you'll be able to catch it at the very end of your stay. Good luck!

Sofa color in the rooms

I don't know if this makes a difference to anyone or not, but I wanted to let you know that the sofas in the rooms aren't really brown. They are more in the very light maroon/burgundy family.

From the photos that WDWKOOK posted, you can see that the wallpaper hasn't been changed yet. I believe that will make a big difference in the look of the room. By the time I left on Friday, I noticed many of the empty rooms having the walls stripped of their wallpaper. I also noticed new furniture being delivered to the suites.

I look forward to hearing other opinions as many of you take your trips over the next few weeks.

A few more photos taken by HARASW of the new hallway carpeting:

This is the rehab letter to guests, but it was too small to read and became blurry when I tried to enlarged it:

So sorry about the Guest Room Maintenance notice not being clear. It seemed so clear on my phone. I didn't realize that would not transfer over to the posting.

It mentions that there will be work taking place from 9-5 each day and to please bear with them.

I can tell you that the noise didn't bother me at all. I am an early riser and don't spend much time in my room during the day. Though, I must say that I believe that the work did start much earlier than 9 and ended a lot later than 5. The construction crew could be seen in the halls all day long and there were traffic jams from time to time, between guests, construction workers and Mousekeepers.

Does anyone know if they are replacing the mattresses as part of the rehab?
