Welcome, I see you are brand new to the DIS, and you've found the cruise boards. There are tons of other boards here with lots and lots of great information also.

I believe the trivia games were all held in the bars, and bars are always noisy, unless they are closed. Sometimes people just having fun at these things and aren't deliberately being rude. It is just a game and a good time.

The Cove is a great place if you want someplace quiet. Although, they do serve alcohol, so there may be drunks there too.

I do agree that being rude to the staff is totally uncalled for, but I find guests who stiff the workers and tour guides on tips to be much more obnoxious than some loud folks in a bar, and we saw plenty of that.

Hello.. I may be new to dis but I am not new to disney cruises. I have done multiply cruises. I understand that the trivia is sometimes done in the "pubs" and I also understand that there is alcohol In the "pubs" too. What I don't get is why some people have to be loud and disruptive to other people who are clearly trying to enjoy themselves on the sea days. I get that these people are enjoying themselves too but have a bit of respect for others who are on the cruise with them. Coz be cafe is a wonderful place to be but I am not going to just sit there all day everyday when I could be enjoying myself elsewhere!Sure I said a few things but I was only saying what other people can't say.

I think the point was more that people were being loud and obnoxious -not whether they were drinking/drunk or not .There are obviously people drinking in all areas and having a good time without disturbing everyone else -it is the people who are just plain bad mannered that I criticised and I am sure that many others would agree with this.If people were stone cold sober teetotallers who were behaving in this manner, I would be making the same statements

People all find their enjoyment in different ways and some are more lively than others, either after a few drinks or none, so perhaps we should all live and let live and stop criticising others.
