Oh yummy! I would SO be into the FE if it wasn't geared towards kids (but I see yours was not LOL).
I have a 16 and almost 21 year old and there is no way they would care or want me to remotely particiapte in this for them.
Me, on the otherhand, getting rum as a gift, I'm all over it

I think by far, teens & "young adults" are the most difficult group to come up with good ideas for FE gifts.

You can't miss my DH. He's a big burly USMC redneck w/ a fanny pack and acting like a kid who can't wait for the next ride at WDW.

Me - Magnets. Someone made a laminated calendar for the next year and put a magnet on the back.

We received Disney music CDs on 2 cruises. They have become the most used FE gifts over the years.

In April on the Magic, we got an "Eye Scream" sundae kit: 8 ounce plastic cup, plastic spoon and single serve portions of M&M's and other candies for toppings or mix in's. Very creative and practical, not to mention fairly inexpensive to assemble.

My favorite FE gift was a Golden Book of Lady and the Tramp (Lady is my favorite) with journal pages added in. Best gift ever. I believe a woman on Etsy makes them.

I can't pick one. On the cruise we LOVED the cardboard drink carrier! Genius! Now that we are home I LOVE the DCL vinyl for my car.

We loved the homemade Disney ornament we received on our Magic cruise. On our Alaskan cruise, one cabin made a beautiful scrapbook that all we had to do was add pictures. Loved it! I also love the sets of coasters we have received. We plan to do these for our next cruise. We are a family with older children and still participate in the FE. We have had several couples without children participate. I think the FE exchange is for anyone who want to enjoy it.

I think the FE exchange is for anyone who enjoys giving and bringing magic to other people. I think people get jaded with it when they look at it as being about receiving.

That being said, we loved everything with ours. The kids loved going around dropping off gifts, and I loved watching them get excited when they'd come back to our room and find gifts in the holder. It really did not matter what they were, they loved them.

One of my favorite memories from our cruise was when I was off delivering a few FEs on my own to finish up, and some kids saw me put one in a FE from down the hall and I heard one exclaim "it's the gift fairy!" They weren't even in my FE group, but it was super cute!

Most useful thing we got was a "light card" that worked like our room key for lights and tv. It had a magnet so as we left you could stick it to the inside of the door

Were you on the April 5th -12th Fantasy because it sounds like my adult gift. We gave a small bottle of coconut rum with a can of pineapple juice with a cup and keychain.

I also really like the light card with the magnet on the back. I would remove it and stick in on the bathroom door when we left. We received others too but not with the magnet.
