Can anyone tell me if the updated Magic still has a switch on the entrance to turn on the lights or was it update to where you have to put in a card to get the lights to turn on???

The Magic still has the regular push switch. No card needed.

Really? I just read on another board that someone booked while they were onboard the Fantasy and asked just that question and was told "YES, they now have the same lighting system that you use the cards with!"

Maybe different categories have different options? I wouldn't think so, but ya never know.

Or a case of a CM not really knowing the answer?

Stayed in Cat T in January and there were light switches. Hundreds of light switches. As far as I am aware, all the rooms have switches still.

I assure you they are push button light switches. I got off the Magic one week ago. The CM was wrong.

Is this 8032? We stayed in it before the dry dock & I have been wondering what the changes are. It looks great! We will be staying in it again in October.

Thanks so much for sharing! I have been waiting for months to see the changes and I think they are fantastic! This has made me even more excited to see it in person in October!
