We did the Sea Trek Helmet Dive when we went to St. Maarten. We had a really good time on that excursion. During the dive you get to walk along a path on the bottom of the ocean. I think we went down about 20-30 ft. They have divers in the water with you to help guide you and they give you food to feed the fish. They take a lot of photos of you while you are down there. I used a GoPro during the dive and the video and pictures came out great.

After the dive you can snorkel or swim next to the boat.

Sorry didn't catch the "tour" part when I first posted.
Other family members on our cruise did the Butterfly Farm tour. From what they told me, it was not that great. The bus was hot and not that comfortable. The farm didn't have much to see. They didn't see a lot of butterflies and the ones they did see were common ones that the kids have already seen before and were not that interested in. They said they would not recommend that excursion unless it has changed in the past few years.

We did the Under Two Flags excursion. It was OK. Our transportation was a small bus with air conditioning. I really liked our guide, but the excursion itself basically just drove up over the mountain in the middle of the island and around the edge back to the port. It was pretty, and for people like us who enjoy just looking at what's around, it was good.

I don't think if you have kids, they'd really get into it. Or if you really want a lot of history or shopping, it's probably not a good idea.

Thanks, part of our group is going to do the sea trek so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! My husband and I were looking at the island drive and explorer cruise. Has anyone taken that tour.
