Reserving two rooms at DW

Need to reserve two rooms for an upcoming trip but the Disney website only allows you to reserve one at a time.

Obviously I can just go back and reserve another one, but I'd like to request connecting rooms.

If I order the two online separately can I call into the front desk a few days from now and request connecting rooms on those reservations or is it just easier to call in and do it with a real live operator? (also, if I do it through the operator, how long before it shows up on MDE?)

Thanks!

I would call to book both rooms at the same time so you can have your reservations linked with your requests on record right from the start.

We recently booked a room on the phone and I received the confirmation email soon after, within the hour. From there I was able to put it into MDE.

I agree with the pp that I would call to book and have your request for connecting rooms noted at that time. Also, just wanted to add that when you call the phone number associated with a resort, you are not talking to someone at the front desk of that resort. All calls made to resort phone numbers are routed to a call center. The calls are answered as if the person is at that resort, but they are actually in a call center that may not even be located in Florida.
