TIW and Valet parking at The Swan

Does anyone know definitively, if I have a TIW card and dine at the Swan (Garden Grove), do I get free valet parking at the hotel?

There are some suggestions on the web that you don't as 1) it's not a Disney Hotel and 2) The Garden Grove never validates parking.

Any ideas?

Thanks

1) The last time we went, parking was not validated bg GG.
2) Unless it has changed lately, TIW does not get you free/reduced parking.
3) Better to use WDW transportation than pay $15.00+tip for parking.

We've used TiW for a good number of years (going back to before it was even called TiW), and have always received free valet parking as long as there was a participating restaurant.

From the TiW site:
Valet and Parking:

Resort valet services are complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Resort restaurants. This privilege will only be extended to one vehicle per membership card. Present your membership card with a valid dining receipt from the participating Resort restaurant at the Valet Stand upon retrieving your vehicle. On Tables in Wonderland Block-Out dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services.
Theme Park parking is complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Theme Park restaurants. Before 5:00pm, please pay for parking at the Auto Plaza. Visit Guest Relations on your way out of the Theme Park, and if it has been less than 3 hours, show your membership card, parking receipt, and dining receipt for parking reimbursement. After 5:00pm., members can show their membership card at the Auto Plaza to enter the parking lot. Theme Park admission is required for dining in all Theme Park restaurant locations. On Tables in Wonderland blockout dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services.

OK, I e-mailed TIW and they came back very quickly to say yes, they will validate valet parking at the Swan and Dolphin.

We'll see, but at least I have it in writing!

My understanding is that there is no "validating". The valet station looks to see if you have a dining receipt that shows a TiW card has been used. If it has been used (at a restaurant at that resort), then they'll waive the fee for valet parking. At least that was the process at the Grand Floridian.

We ate at Il Mulino in December and the valet station said we had to have the ticket validated for them to waive the fee. The restaurant asked when we checked in if we had a valet ticket to be validated.

The Disney hotels only need to see a receipt.

Thanks both.

The curious thing is that on the Swan & Dolphin website it has an explicit list of restaurants that will give you valet parking & Garden Grove isn't on there.

Blue Zoo and Il Mulino are...

It might be the difference between with and without the TiW card. I couldn't find the list, but my guess it that anyone who dines at Blue Zoo or Il Mulino are given validation for their parking, regardless of whether you have a TiW or not. Most likely, the other venues (that accept TiW) only offer "validation" for those guests with a TiW.
