Hello! We are first time Dessert Party goers!

We have a 7:10pm reservation on Wednesday March 5th. According to the schedule on the website, Wishes doesn't start until 10pm, so are we stuck there waiting for three hours?!

Thank you!

EDIT TO ADD: Just called Disney Dining. They are still showing Wishes for 8pm that night, but all the crowd/message board calendars I've seen show that Wishes has been moved to 10pm. I haven't received an email from Disney Dining concerning any changes. So...don't know what's up ?!

Dessert party

Going to Disney 2/1-2/8, so if anyone has a cancellation for the dessert party I'd love to snag it..this would be our first time attending. Thanks!

JetBlue canceled our Tuesday morning flight and can't get us on a flight until Thursday afternoon.

Good news, is our wonderful friends at the Dolphin were able to rearrange our room reservations and we are able to extend our trip to Saturday - so we are staying the same amount of nights.

Bad news, is we had to cancel our Afternoon Tea at the GF for tomorrow and our WISHES DESSERT PARTY for Wednesday.

Good news, is maybe one of you can grab it...

Great pictures! I really don't like desserts but they look yummy!

We are going in April for DH's bday. Our ressie time is 9pm. Sounds like people will line up around 8:30 and they will probably let us in at 9?

Any recent experience with desserts running out? I didn't read the whole thread but early posts mentioned getting there very early because things ran out.

Thanks!

Ohana dinner, then dessert party

Okay, I need some opinions....we are doing MK 2x for our first trip ever to Disney in May. The second day we are there, May 11, we are doing the dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace. Right now the park hours say 9am-11pm with extra magic hours until 1 am. I am not sure what time the party would start for this day. So, that is my first question? What time would the wishes dessert party be? Second, I have a dinner reservation for 5pm at Ohana. Do you think I should find something earlier & have a late lunch as opposed to a big dinner and then the party? I reallllly wanted to go to Ohana on this trip because I am not sure when I will ever get back there, but this is the only day it would fit! My back up plan was a 130pm lunch reservation at Tony's Town Restaurant Square. Thoughts are much appreciated!!

From what I read, you need to see what time Wishes is. The party is 1 hour before that.

As mentioned, the dessert party opens about 1 hr before Wishes. As to the reservations between 'Ohana, that's a personal decision. We love 'Ohana, but you can get full very easily there. So, you'll have to ask yourself if you're going to the dessert party to be fully engorged in the desserts?.... or for the view and relaxation at the tables. ...or a little of both. Many have had a larger lunch and lite dinner before attending the party. Again, no one know's your eating style better than you. But i can see the delima your in... i wouldn't want to cancel a 'Ohana reservation either

We had dinner at CRT before the dessert party, and the desserts were wasted on us because we were full. With that said, I would not replace an Ohana dinner with a Tony's lunch. Tony's is gross.

Can you see "Celebrate the Magic" (I think that is the name for the projection show on the sides of the castle) from this area? I am trying to decide on booking the dessert party for our August trip.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you have a great view of the castle. The only thing you can't see really well is the MSEP. My kids absolutely loved the dessert party!

if the tables are already pre-assigned is there a reason to line up early?
