We had a wonderful time, but did have our moments!

Pretty much down to my hips on one side, but nice and perky on the other

Your kids are going to be thrilled to death to be in Disney. They're going to love wherever you choose.

But know that, as a family of 5, (I'm assuming FIL is in his own room?) your options are a bit limited-- most of the Values and Mods won't accomodate 5 in a room.

The exceptions are the suites at All Star Music and Art of Animation and the Murphy Bed Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside, and the cabins at Fort Wilderness. The Deluxes, with the exception of the Wildeness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge, will accomodate 5 in a standard room.

You can request "connecting" (not just "adjoining") rooms, and Disney will try to accomdate you. But they won't make any promises.

Of course, if Grandpa is open to having a kid or two in his room, giving you a 4 and a 2, then you have a lot more options.

Have a fabulous trip!

We haven't done the Poly yet, I can't seem to catch it at a price I'm willing to pay, but maybe someday.
Are we sisters??? I think we have the same dad!!!

We would always stay in Kissimee as a child (HoJo, Holiday Inn...). We would visit the Poly and I would be in awe of the people who got to "stay in Disney".

But, my dad said he could "never get reservations"...

This was supposed to be our Poly year (finally!) but there's construction, so we are staying GF instead....someday, Poly, I will stay there!!!

My grandparents knew a former airline attendant who had a connection so it may have been booked solid for 2 years. I also wish I could find a price that I would be willing to pay to go back. I always check and can never allow myself to push the reserve button.
