DH and never were approached when we drank our own beverages by the pool!
We did buy drinks at dinner and at the clubs but made our own at the pool... I know, I know, it's against policy

Just curious, last time we cruised we brought a soft sided cooler with bottled water and like 2 bottles of beer in it, is that still permitted or does it need to be in a carry-on piece of luggage?

I always put my drinks in a cup so it is not obvious.
So that is why one of the Girl Scouts on a trip down there last year got taken backstage and arrested because they won't confront you if they know you are stealing

(trust me it was a confrontation. The only reason she didn't wind up in jail was it was a first offense and we agreed to send her home with no more park time. Value of goods she tried to lift... $25. So... don't try it, Mickey is watching )
