Wonder or Fantasy? WWYD?

I currently have a Wonder 5-night Western (going to Cozumel and Castaway Cay from Miami) booked for Feb 2015.

I'm beginning to ponder a Fantasy 7-night Eastern C (St. Martin, San Juan, Castaway Cay from Port Canaveral).

My prior and upcoming cruise are on the Dream, so I'm familiar with the Dream-class ships, which is why I originally booked the Wonder. But a part of me really likes the itinerary on the Fantasy...and it's 7 nights.

If you had this choice, what would you do and why? I'm just curious to "hear" other thoughts. Oh, this would be a solo trip, so no kids to consider.

(I'm not really interested in the Magic, which is why I'm not pondering that one.)

I'm doing the 7n Eastern on the Fantasy in April. I've been on the Dream. LOVED the Dream, so i'm sure we'll love the Fantasy too. That being said, we've never been to the Western Caribbean and have never been on the smaller, classic ships. We'll (hopefully) sail on the Wonder in June 2015, assuming she does Alaska again.

So, to answer your question, we would probably do the 5 night Western so we can try the new itinerary and classic ship.

If we HAD already experienced the itinerary & ship, I've gotta believe we would go with the Fantasy....I loved the Dream so much, it would be very difficult for the Wonder to knock her off the pedistal I've placed her on!

We booked on the President's Day Fantasy Eastern. From what I've read, the Eastern side is warmer during the winter months. We've been on the Dream and will sail on the Magic before the Feb 2015 cruise. Although we are excited to see the Magic, it's more about the itinerary, you'll love all four ships. Plus, if you can swing 2 more days, that's even better!! I booked a couple of weeks ago and it's already gone up $322 so if you want to change, I suggest doing it sooner rather than later. Good luck with your decision!

Either! We've done the Wonder twice and LOVED it. We have the Fantasy booked next because we want to try a new itinerary. You can't go wrong!

If it were based strictly on itinerary and ship alone and price were not a factor then I would choose the Fantasy. I love the Dream and the Fantasy is supposed to be similar yet better and you get two more nights. Since price is a factor for me, we are cruising on the Wonder in April of 2015 and have zero regrets about booking it over the Fantasy. Yes, it is an older ship but we are super excited to give it a try.

You can't go wrong with either!!
4 NIGHT MAGIC 2014 The Magic is better than the Dream.....I'll be the judge of that!

I voted for either.

I'd almost always prefer the longer cruise so I'd probably take the Fantasy. That is not to say that the Wonder cruise won't be just as much fun though.

I've spent a total of a month each on the Magic and Wonder and love them both! Looking forward to our upcoming trip on the Dream!

What I consistently hear from the many CM's I know is that the Fantasy pulled additional wonderful ideas from the construction of the Dream, and virtually everyone I know prefers the Fantasy over the Dream for that reason. (I love longer cruises, so if when possible, I choose 7 nt or longer.)

I've cruised on all four ships and the Fantasy would be my favorite. I think that added with the 7 nights and Eastern would be the winner for me. I truly do love all the ships for their individual contributions and charm but I find myself loving the Dream/Fantasy more. I think it might be simply because the Dream was "my first" and I've cruised on her 4 times now.

Just know that either decision will be awesome but I'm going with the Fantasy for 7 nights!!

REALLY want to tell you to do a classic ship but between Eastern, two additional nights, and the Fantasy? That wins hands down.

If it was Magic vs Fantasy I'd have a harder time deciding.

No question for me. I followed the Fantasy on my last CCL ship the entire time. It is my dream to get on that ship. I'm making the rounds though. Dream, Magic next. Who knows? Maybe I can snatch up an IGT sometime in 2015 to get on my beautiful Fantasy. I wouldn't mind getting on the Wonder (especially if they send her out of NO LA sometime, that would be easy) but if it was a question of Fantasy vs Wonder, I would have to spend the $ on the Fantasy first!

As much as I love the Wonder, I would definitely select the 7nt cruise. My motto is the more the better, so it would be an easy decision for me. I thought 7 nights flew by so I can't imagine how quickly the shorter cruises would pass by.

Good luck!
