If you stay on the ship at Nassau...

Does it seem like a ghost town on the ship? Are all the restaurants still open for lunch or are you limited?

In my experience, the ship will be packed. A large percentage of cruisers stay on in Nassau, particularly on shorter cruises. All the usual spots open for lunch.

Things are definitely still open. It's not a ghost town, but not EVERYONE is on board.

As always, shops are closed while in port.

It would be like a day at sea for the restaurants with Cabanas open , the quick service places and one of the main restaurants open serving lunch as well so good won't be a worry. As for the amount of people it will be a lot quieter then a sea day but not everyone leaves as there is still at least 40% of the passengers still on board. Sent from my iPhone 5 using DISBoards

My wife and I stayed on board because we have been to Nassau three other cruises. It didn't seem like a large percentage stayed on board to me, but we were not the only ones. We were on the Dream and the wait lines were very short for the AquaDuck, as previously posted the shops are closed and you will not go hungry. We really liked the less busy time on the Dream during our stay in Nassau.
