Last summer my 11 year old daughter wanted to take a picture with Alice so when we got to the front of the line Alice asked her to show her her backpack... so my daughter took it off and showed her and Alice snatched it out of her hands and ran into the garden area of the UK pavilion and shouted out 'you can't catch me!' and my daughter chased her around all over the garden...she seriously didn't budge, made my daughter chase her all over! It was so funny and sweet. My daughter loved it. A great memory.

My guess about Elsa is that she's probably wearing the 'gloves' in the park and her answer might be 'I cannot show my ice powers with my gloves on, remember?' and then swiftly change the subject...I'm not sure, but that's my guess.

Turtle Talk is awesome- He is so witty, it was one of my all time favorite things we did on the trip.

There was one kid named John Carl and there was another kid named Kennedy Grace. And he was like, "John Carl, you should get together with Kennedy Grace, you could have a moment with that whole two name thing".

Then when he opened it up for questions at the end, one kid raised his hand and was just yelled out green! Crush, looked around and was like "whats that little dude? Green?" And then the kid yelled out "Green Shell", and with out missing a beat crush was like, "uh, am I on jeopardy? I'll take turtle shells for 300 Alex!!" It was awesome.

That is so sweet.

I LOVE the character interaction stories! We usually travel as a party of only adults, so our greets are pretty quick and photos only, with minimal "interaction." My big exception, however, is the princesses. I get all flustered with most of them!

We have met the same Rapunzel several times, and she is TERRIFIC. I've actually let Guest Relations know what a great experience she gives because it's been so special every time. Last July, we were in the Princess room and I asked if she would mind saying hello to my friend's daughter on video. I thought it would be a quick hi and a wave, but she spent a couple of minutes talking into my phone, basically telling her a story. I almost cried because it was so sweet and I knew my little princess would love it! Then she spent MORE time playing with me! She's really great.

On the flip side, our Cinderella that same day was a total dud. I'm not sure if it was just because Rapunzel was SO good that she couldn't really follow that show or what, but it was a completely different experience.

I've wondered- is Rapunzel's hair blonde, or short and brown like at the end of the movie, and what they tell kids about it.

I actually asked Rapunzel's CM escort about her hair (long and blonde) in September and she said something along the lines of "her hair is still long because that's where she currently is in her story." Same reason Ariel doesn't have legs. I guess that makes sense...

I've usually always had good interactions with all the characters, but Cinderella at CRT was the worst. It was just a smile, face the camera, and "Enjoy your meal."

My son was almost 3. We were having dinner with Cinderella. Somehow he took off his shoes. One of the stepsisters made a big to do about find HER Prince Charming with his own shoes and put his shoes on for him. He loved it. I've also Always had a fantastic time with Pluto. Who got on all 4 chasing my son and when it was just me and my sister in law, Mickey and Minnie played with us, huge hugs, a lot of fun. I can honestly say, they've all been wonderful

DS (20mon) loves ladies, but apparently the Disney girls aren't for him! We were hoping he'd give a kiss to Rapunzel but instead he kept running away. She didn't take it too personally though, and we have some adorable pics of her sad faced as DS "heads for the hills" giggling madly!

He does love Mickey and Piglet though. They are both small enough for him to handle. Plus Piglet is pink and I have a pink fuzzy robe. The only real surprise was Jake. He loves Jake, but the character was a little scary for him. I guess the translation from cartoon to reality was a little much. Keep that in mind, because it surprised us.

My fav character interaction came from Mary Poppins and Bert. My DS who is now in college was very afraid of face characters for a few years! DD wanted to meet Mary so we went in the room in the old tent area and DH and DS stood off to the side. Well Burt decided to come talk to DS, we explained he was uncomfortable with face characters.

Bert was very gently and spoke softly to DS who had by now backed himself into a corner. Bert wanted to shake hands with DS who refused and stood like a statue. Mary observing all this never broke character and called over to Burt... "Burt, perhaps he just needs a spoonful of sugar". OMG we all burst into laughter, DS shook hands and we left. We still laugh to this day!

My son asked Aurora where Prince Phillip was and without missing a beat she said he was battling dragons and defending the kingdom. Then she asked my son if he was a knight and he showed her his sword fighting skills.
