Question Booking Verandah- Which Category??

We booked a Cat 07A (obstructed view verandah) for our 4 night on the Dream last September. We had no problem with the obstruction at all and would definitely book that Category again. We are looking to book a 7 night on the Fantasy in August... but the 07A isn't available. That is fine... I'm just super confused as to my other options.

What are the pros/cons of the other verandah categories? I know they are different decks... are there any other differences?

Help please!

We just had a 6b on the Fantasy (7188) last week and loved it. The description says that they have white wall verandas but the white wall only comes up to about shin height so it does not block your view.

I personally enjoy 5c. I think it is just a preference. I like being a little forward of midship and just over half way up (as far as decks).
It "is" a small world after all....

I would check out the deck plans to see the differences in the categories as well as where they are located on the ship.

We prefer midship locations, which are a little pricier than other verandah categories. I upgraded to a 4B last cruise as those rooms have a little more square footage (and the cool round tub) and we really enjoyed the extra room as the kids are getting bigger....

I prefer these deckplans as you have cabin descriptions next to the deck plans. And you can mouse over cabins on plans for details. Plus you can drag them on top of each other. It's also one of the few that separates interior sqft from balcony sqft.

ETA; Of course all have the Dream Class 4e's classified wrong IMO. At least this site expands in the description.
I feel these should be labeled differently, such as cat 5f or something. JMT
