Assuming you mean the regular dining plan (1 TS, 1 CS and 1 snack per night) whether it's worth it or not totally depends on the makeup of your party, where you plan to eat, what you plan to order, and whether you place a personal value on prepayment of meals.

It is usually for us, but everyone trip is slightly different. I always crunch the numbers against where we want to go just to be sure.
For the love of Disney...

If you are paying for the QSDP and already committed to having a dining plan, I'd say the DDP is a MUCH greater value than the QSDP. It is very difficult to do more than break even with the QSDP.

If you're getting the QSDP free with your pkg, then it is probably worth the upgrade cost to get a TS meal each day.

If you haven't paid for or decided on any dining plan yet, you need to do the math to see if any of them fit your family's way of eating.
