Does Disney offer free dining or room only discounts around NYE?

We are pretty much set on dates for our trip next year, 12/26-1/3 but I'm wondering if anyone knows if Disney ever puts out free dining deals or R.O. Discounts during this time. I'm guessing the answer is "no" bc it's a peak time to visit but I was just curious!

Thanks in advance!

Every year, during those dates, Disney basically fills EVERY single room on property at rack rates that are beyond ridiculous (and higher than any other dates throughout the year). So, why would they offer a discount? If you haven't started pricing your trip....get ready for some serious sticker shock.

I'm not at all surprised by the prices and we have already booked. I was only asking to see if they ever had offered deals even though I was pretty sure that the answer would be no. I'm not killing anyone by asking right?

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately, no. The week between Christmas and New Years is the busiest time of year and Disney has no trouble filling rooms during that time frame. But, it never hurts to ask as you never know when something out of the ordinary might happen. Have a great trip .

This year the latest arrival date for FD was 12/22. I imagine next year it would be 12/21 if not the week before.

You would have to go longer. We had free dining on our trip and it went through I think Dec. 22. Let's say you checked in on Dec. 22 then you would have free dining for your length of stay even past the expiration.
