Tortuga Tavern Yuck!

We had reservations for Tortuga Tavern buffet tonight. The first thing we noticed was the 10 people standing outside with menu trying to get people to come in. Once inside we paid and then we're seated. We were surprised at how empty the restaurant was but our reservation was 8 o'clock so a little late maybe. First I went to get my three young daughters' food from the buffet. As I started blowing the food I realize it was all cold. We let our waiter know and he brought out warm mac and cheese and said they were going to switch out the buffet. I gave it a bit and tried again. The corn dogs and mac and cheese were hot but everything else up there was cold including soup that was in a different location. After the second try, we asked for our money back. The chef even came out to talk with us while they were doing the refund. Also why does Disney think they should charge the same as The Royal Table or Crystal Palace for what they even call "overflow" We paid $135 for 2 adults and 2 children.

I am very impressed that you asked for your money back. So many people say that things were terrible, and they don't complain, or they just take a bite of something and throw it out If more people complained at the point of service, maybe things would get better at some of these places.

The chef seemed very concerned and asked which buffet we were sitting near. He said he was going to go check that area.
