We have gotten a raised toilet seat from our stateroom host before. You should be able to send an email to special services beforehand to request one to make sure one is earmarked for you.

Thanks, on our Sept cruise on the Dream we communicated with DCL special services and they were great.

I feel HA cabins should be reserved for the passengers who need them. If someone gets put in a HA because of a guarantee booking than good for them and they can "enjoy" the extra space and non-split bath. We spend so little time in our room that even when we had 5 of us in there it was messy but space wise we did not have any complaints.
IMO Disney needs to change their policy on booking HA rooms. Passengers who need them should be the first priority and should NOT be told there are "none available" when they are booked with passengers that do not need them.

I hope someone at DCL is reading this post and suggesting a change.

BUMP

We are sailing in 7636 on the Magic in early February. Any more reports
on this cabin after the Magic refit. DH needs an accessible bathroom, but we are interested in the changes to the beds refit.
Also:
We are also sailing on the Fantasy in May 2014 and we were able to move to an 11C accessible cabin on deck 2.

I booked a GTY cabin for our upcoming cruise in January and we were given a HA cabin. I actually prefer a regular cabin but they said we could not be accommodated. I hope people do not think we booked an HA cabin on purpose! I would give it up in a second!

At least they did before they changed the policy and started letting people book H/C rooms online.
I had one the first time we sailed the fantasy. 8682. it was set up as handicap with the emergency call buttons, the hand railings in the bathroom as well as the wheelchair accessible showers. it had the big room for wheelchairs and the veranda was gigantic, again so a wheelchair could easily be accomadated. according to the r.s. it had minor door issues and could not be sold as accessible. we actually received it as a pixie dusted upgrade. I loved that room and would certainly book it again.
