Jet Ski at Castaway Cay in December

Hi All,

I am going on the Magic in December with a stop to Castaway Cay and Key West. At Castaway Cay we are signed up to do the Jet Ski excursion while there but was noticing that there are many openings still avialable. This is our first cruise in the "off season" and the other times we have gone to Castaway Cay (mainly in June-August), it was very difficult to get in at all do do that adventure.

Just wondering if the weather/water would be too cold to enjoy this excursion.

Don't know about December sorry but we did jet skis in November - I found the water in the bay quite cold but once you get out there you don't notice, and in the shallows it was quite warm

We have done it in Jan and it was fine. It just depends what warm water is to you. We are from MN so warm to us is completely different than someone who is from FL

Just got off the fantasy. Our jet ski reservation was cancelled on Dec 13 due to weather and choppy water.

We were on the November 10 Dream 4 night cruise and our excursion was also cancelled due to choppy water. We were so disappointed.

Just wanted to let you know that I just got off the Magic from the 12/18 cruise to CC and KW. Our jet ski was canceled due to choppy weather. Personally the weather was a bit cold but the water really wasn't that choppy, if anything the water was smoother outside the break wall than inside. We were on the Fantasy over July 4th and we did go out in even worse weather!

Lately I believe the company that Disney has running that excursion is getting lazy. They didn't even show up at the check in desk to tell us it was canceled. A cast member finally came up to us right at our scheduled time to let us know it was canceled.
