Family Suite All Stars Music or Two Standard Rooms at Pop

We just got back and are already planning a trip for next year! This time around it will be me, DH, DS, 24, DD, 21, and DS2. We are thinking we will probably need to do value this year. I booked the bounceback for All Stars Music Family Suite, but I'm not sure if this would be best for us. Maybe a standard room at Pop would be better for our two adult kids. The other thing I am thinking is maybe two rooms at PO if we could get a good room only discount. Opinions please?

Can your 2 year old fall asleep with other people in the room, or will you need to close off the bedroom part of the suite for him to sleep?

If sleeping isn't an issue, I would go with the 2 rooms at a resort instead. Your older children are adults, so if you can't get connecting rooms you'd be okay and everyone would be able to sleep in beds instead of pullouts. I don't like the layout of the family suites, and find them more suited to families with multiple young children, not a family with 4 adults, but that's just my opinion.

Planning our trip we found that if free dining is released (and you were considering the dining plan already) taking free dining at a moderate brings the price close to a value because the discount is so much bigger at a moderate.

A couple years ago we got two rooms at POP for our family, including myself, DH, DD (21 at the time) and DS (15 at the time). This worked out really well for us. Both kids got their own bed - I don't think they would have been as happy sleeping on pull outs. We did get connecting rooms, but if we hadn't, it wouldn't have been a problem, due to their ages.

No, sleeping is not an issue. He usually sleeps with my husband and me. This trip we just returned from we stayed at POFQ and it was perfect! The baby slept with DH and I got the other bed to myself most of the time. A couple of nights the baby slept with me and DH got the other bed. My two adult children would definitely prefer beds. The family suite with park tickets and basic dining plan for all of us I booked for about 5,800 for eight nights. We really like queen beds and the family suite has a queen, BUT that leaves the adult kids with the full-sized sofa bed and the chair pull-out. Two standard rooms at Pop seem okay, but we're not sure about full-sized beds and how we would like the resort as compared to a moderate. We really don't use the resort a lot, but we are planning on this next trip to take at least one, maybe two days off of the parks to hang out at the resort.

To give you an idea on price we priced out 5 adults and 1 2 year old child, 10 nights, 10 day hoppers, 2 rooms at a moderate with free dining and our total trip cost was just under $6200. We compared it to the AoA suites which I believe are more expensive than at ASMu, but 2 rooms at a moderate was a much better value for us with the FD discount.

ETA: This was value season at the beginning of February.

Oh, wow! Thanks so much for your advice! That's a pretty good price for ten nights! I'm going to see what discounts come out and maybe think about doing our trip at a cheaper time of year.
