Disney IT systems

Don't know what's going on with my Disney online accounts! I can log into my Disney Experience from the app and it all works with all the linked reservations, but can't log on on a laptop. When I try to log in on a PC, it thinks my name is the username I use for my DVC login! No reservations are linked! It is a mess ! We don't go on vacation for a while so plenty of time to sort, but disappointed that the systems have so many glitches. Any similar experiences out there?

Are you logged in to the DVC site or have cookies/password saved for it?

The 2 systems are connected so if DVC cookies exist it's possible it's just automatically grabbing those first.

By the way, MDE is still officially in testing so glitches are to be expected on what is effectively a giant beta test.

Because it uses the same log in details as DVC site that's why it is trying to log you in.

I use the same account for everything now as they are all linked - makes life easier!

thanks tried resetting safari, deleting cookies etc.. no luck, its weird as the dvc site was set up with different log in details. I think its related to the fact that I have recently changed my email address and updated the details on the DVC site. All worked well before that.

Fnurr, ok, that stinks. I don't suppose MDE lets you send an invite out to your plan to the new email address?

It's a complete long shot but I had a problem before where I basically had two profiles (split stay and 1 reservation was on each profile (they were also DVC reservations)). I fixed it by sending myself an invite to plan. I then accepted the invite that was in my email at which point MDE recognised that the two me's had the same email and merged them both into one.

Both accounts would need to have the same email address, and after accepting the invite you'd need to log out of MDE and back in.

I don't know if there's any way to send yourself an invite from the app but if you can it might be worth a try.

Clearly your interactions with Disney IT have gone better than mine, LOL.
