I only booked the 11:25 flight because anything later in the day was over $1000 more! We will be having first dining and I think we will take our luggage with us instead of placing outside our door the night before. I think I'll call disney tomorrow regarding taking bus to airport. We are renting a car from MCO to our hotel before the trip. Can't wait to go, we sail Feb 15 on the Fantasy western Caribbean. Last year we had absolutely zero problems getting through customs and the MCO airport so fingers crossed for a repeat.
I don't know if you went the same week last year, but keep in mind that is Presidents' Week, so especially on Sunday I would expect MCO to be packed with people going home. Just food for thought.

WeVe flown out of MCO three times in the last nine months and each time we encountered significantly long lines at security. I would not be comfortable cutting it too close at the airport. That being said, I think it's possible for you to be one of the first passengers to leave the ship and arrive earlier at the airport.

Just wanted to mention - we typically fly SWA (4 out of 5 completed cruises) and we leave our luggage out the night before. I have personally found it easier to do so, so we aren't schlepping luggage around that morning to breakfast then off the ship as that slows us down. Not sure how much luggage you have, however for us it's never been a problem to leave out.

A suggestion or compromise perhaps - we *do* pay the porters who are waiting for you as you come down the escalator to help find our luggage and they schlep it around, get us through the lines, then out to the bus. It's worth the $10 we tip them to expedite and not stress us. Could we do it, absolutely but it's nice having the extra help and seems to move it along faster.
