Question on cleaning mugs

Does anyone know how to get the coffee stains out of the mugs? I have tried baking soda and scrubbed them but I can't seem to get it clean. Thanks !

Did you notice if the hot cocoa was RFID'ed yet? This is good info and THANK YOU.

I think it depends on the place. Some places have the cocoa machines (which do not have RFID) but then others have done away with the machines and they sell the cocoa packets to be mixed with hot water.

Thank you so much. I will head over to the Pop thread and ask there also.

Was just at POP about a week ago. The hot chocolate dispenser is not RFID, and you are only to fill the mug 2/3 of the way with hot chocolate (not sure why, though), and it was yummy.

Thanks thats good to know. My daughter and family used the dining plan last week and I didn't quite understand why her mug was good for 2 weeks when she was only there 1 week. So I also wondered how it worked if you were there just 1 or 2 days then moving to another resort. I really wish we could just reactivate our old mugs in the future.

So am I correct in understanding that if I have a mug with an active chip, I can use it at any resort, not just the resort I am staying at? Sorry for asking again, but it is just that the various questions asked lead me to believe this might be the case.

Yes, your mug will work at all Disney owned resorts.

Yes, you can use it at other resorts. We had some QS credits to use, so zipped over to Movies to eat at the food court and the mugs worked there too (we were staying at BWV).

We got our new mugs last month. We are headed back in December for Christmas celebration. Can I use my old mugs and pay for the usage instead of getting another mug?

I dunno, but would love it if you could. We go to WDW 3 times a year and having 15 mugs a year just doesn't seem eco-friendly. We would gladly pay to re-activate the older mugs with chips.

No you can't. You have to get new ones. According to Disney they can't be reactivated.
