Arrival Night AS Movies vs Music

I have a new dilemma, which is a good one! We were not able to originally leave until Sunday night after I got off of work, so we wouldn't of arrived until late Monday driving from OH for our BC reservation. But my wonderful coworker at the hospital offered to work for me Sunday, so we can leave Saturday as soon as I get off of work! Were not the type to drive straight through, DH has a bad knee & likes to have a break. Which means we will drive Saturday after I get off of work until we're tired, stop at hotel whenever, & then get up Sunday early & finish.

So we will arrive a day early, so I'm considering either All Star Movies or Music because with my AP it's $88/night, which I'm sure is going to be the comparable price for any other non Disney hotel. Any thoughts on either of those? I ruled out Sports because CS is closed, we did Pop for arrival night last yr & had aunt trip there in May so I'd like to try something new, & LM @AOA has no availability.

I imagine we won't arrive until late evening, so no parks or DTD, maybe just a swim & eating at CS. I know they're very comparable resorts, but do you like the pool/the CS/the atmosphere better at one or the other? If it makes a difference it's just DH & myself, we're in our 30s.

I'm open to all thoughts!

Thanks,
Angeejoe

They are comparable. I did like music as it had nice grounds to walk around.

ASMu gets my vote!

My vote would be for ASMu as the atmosphere is more colorful and lively. We stayed at ASMo this past Feb. and there was some contruction that may have taken away from our experience. I liked the CS at ASMu better too.

Hope you have a great trip!

Thank you so very much for your advice. I was initially leaning towards Movies for no real reason, but based on your advice booked Movies for tonight! Ill let you know how it goes!
Thanks,
