So we had a split stay at OKW (2 bedroom villa- thanks to DVC Aunt) and then moved to Cars Suite (later in trip moving to LM standard room). Having never stayed Value I wanted to share with you my feedback. OKW was ginormous. I think four or five bus stops which gets annoying. The room itself was amazingly huge. The pool- though it had a slide, was just alright. The counter service was just a tiny outdoor place. The bar was great. The kids activities were great. AOA- it's awesome. Not sure why we never tried a value before. The kids love the theming. The pool is great for them (5 yrs old and 7). The food court is convenient and close by! One bus stops seems easy. The bads- the walls are paper thin. Swear. Woke up to doors slamming several times last night. And the toilets- loudest flushing toilets I have ever heard!!! Overall I do enjoy AOA and would stay again!!!! Oh! Family in front of me at check in (maybe they are dissers?) got upgraded from a LM standard room to..... WILDERNESS LODGE! I was a bit envious!

Edited to add- experienced my first AOA bus ride to the parks- oh my! Crowded! Standing room only. Big difference from OKW!

The thing about OKW is that is it DVC only, which means it doesn't have as many amenities as a deluxe hotel with a DVC attached, like BWV, BCV, BLT, etc. So, there is no counter service per se, just a restaurant. But there is a good selection in the gift shop to use your kitchen instead. I advise to NEVER stay at OKW and expect a deluxe hotel experience, it's a wonderful, Disney timeshare.

We think the bus service at OKW is the best we've ever had. Plenty of them, never had to stand, and stops at the parks are close to the entrance. I'd rather have multiple stops over a long walk to one stop, so we're okay with that too. I have heard the walk from LM to the bus is really long at AoA.

The noise factor at resorts is why we love a cabin at Fort Wilderness, no one in any direction around you, so really calm and quiet. I'm surprised the walls are so thin at a new resort, I would assume they would expect that people want some quiet LOL.

Enjoy your trip
