Pools and Pull ups

My son is special needs and is still not 100% potty trained so I believe he is not allowed in any of the pools. Correct? What about Castaway Cay?

I just looked and it looks like swim diapers are ok in the Nephew Spalash zone. Is there any place else Swim Diapers are ok? What about on Twist n' Spout Slide ? Just want to be prepared.

He cannot be in any of the pools with a pull-up or diaper. Maybe in the little nemo splash area but not sure.

Castaway cay is open water so I don't know why you couldn't.

Nemo's reef is fine, Castaway is fine. Anything else, no swim diapers or regular diapers.

If you are on the Fantasy there is also the Aqua Lab area. This is an area where they can open valves, push buttons, etc and there is a lot of water fun. There would be no reason he couldn't enjoy this area.

From the DCL website:

Please note, swim diapers are not permitted in the pools, hot tubs or spas, the AquaDuck and the AquaLab.

So why would the splash area be off limits?? The new area on the magic seems similar and disney is saying it's ok for infants and toddlers. Then nemo's reef is ok as well.

Aqua Duck and Aqua Lab recirculate their water. Nemo's Reef does not.

There is a sign at the entrance Aqua Lab that swim diapers are not allowed and it is for PTd kids also.

So Im guessing the new Aqua Lab on the Magic will no recirculate as well then? Disney is advertising that the nephews splash area on it will be for toddlers and infants.

Im considering the Magic next December and my son will be 32 months by then. Im hoping he is potty trained by then but I would def like him to be able to play in the splash area regardless.

Actually, on the Magic, it's the Nephews Splash Zone that's OK for the non-trained set, AquaLab proper is still a "no swim diaper" area:

Children who are not toilet trained are welcome to enjoy Nephews' Splash Zone, where they must wear swim diapers. Please note, swim diapers are not permitted in Goofy's Pool, Quiet Cove Pool,, AquaDunk and AquaLab, hot tubs or spas.
