Cruising pregnant in 16 days!!!!

Sooooo excited -- we just booked the 10/20 4 nugget on the Dream! It will be our third, but this time I will be 20 weeks pregnant at time of sailing! I thought I needed a note from my midwife saying I was healthy and under 24 weeks but the CM who took my reservation said I don't need anything. Also my 3 year old is finally potty-trained so he'll be able to go to the kids' club for the first time!!

Any other tips on cruising pregnant?

Sent from me.

I'd bring that letter just in case.

I'm cruising in November when I'll be about 20 weeks. I'm planning to take a letter anyway just to be safe. I'm considering bringing a copy if my medical record with me in case I need any medical treatment during our trip.

Have fun!

I will be 21 weeks and we are on the same 10/20 cruise on the dream. I am also healthy but the doctor has me bringing all my lab work and copy of my file just in case. If something did happen (there is always the possibility of some type of accident) it is easier to treat pregnant individuals when you have their work ups. I am also bringing a letter even though they say you don't need anything because I don't want to get down there and it be otherwise.

I've cruised on the Wonder and flown to Europe pregnant. I would definitely bring that letter. I was almost refused boarding on our flight home from Europe because the attendant checking us in didn't believe I was under 36 weeks pregnant and I was only 24 weeks! I was very happy I had the letter from my OB, that would of been a very long boat ride home is what DH said while we were waiting for the attendant to decide if I could board.
Do you think she was hinting that she thought I was HUGE? Thinking about it now I did eat a lot of chocolate while I was there.

I will definitely bing records anyway. I am very short and this is baby #3 so I already have an impressive belly. I had a 20 week check-up and ultrasound scheduled for that week so Monday I need to call and get one the week before. Hopefully I can also get the ultrasound before we go!

I cruised the fantasy a couple of weeks ago at 20 weeks pregnant. I was never asked to show any kind of documentation.

I loved cruising pregnant. I was 18w and was doted on by the staff and spent my time in the pool and eating, LOL. Since you're out of first trimester you can also book a pregnancy massage at the spa. Also make sure to get some maternity pictures at the backdrops offered by Shutters. I have a whole set from a dress-up night, plus ones with Tinker Bell added in pixie dusting my baby belly.
