Tennis, since as a PP Noted, it is something you can do as a lifelong activity.

16" softball most likely, or archery. I loved both of those...after that I guess back to badminton or tennis but my knees would not be happy.

I was also a Rink Rat...4 wheel roller skate style in my pre-teen/early teens. I didn't do roller derby per say, but there were days.....

Started up playing soccer a couple years ago (after not playing it since I was a kid) and I wouldn't mind becoming better at that.

Otherwise, I'd like to be a better golfer.

Basketball. I'm short, slow, can't shoot, and can't ball handle well. But, even at 46 I love to play.

Swimming! Dolphin trainers have to be great at swimming. It would be nice to be good at it naturally and not have to work so hard at it. The underwater part is what's hard for me!

I'd wear a pair. I might even be able to get Mrs. Tex to wear some

I'm not completely clear on just what was being asked, so I'll cover both.

1. What sport would you like to be good at, whether you've ever been good at it or not?

A: Running. I run with the grace of a three-legged hippopotamus. I hate these people who say "Let's just go for a little run. We'll just jog, and walk whenever you need to," and then wonder why I dropped out before they finished their five mile sprint. (Really, really, REALLY hate people who can run naturally!)

2. Of the sports you were good at, what would you like to be really good at?

A: Small-bore rifle. I actually shot competitively for a very short time, but it's a ruinously expensive sport to pursue and I didn't have my own equipment.

(Am I over-sharing again?)

I have always enjoyed dance - up to a few years ago I even danced on stage to a public audience at the annual ballet school recital. I'd do it again if I could carve out the time and regain some fitness.

I also used to play tennis and squash. Squash would be hard on my knees now, but tennis I could handle. I already belong to a yacht and tennis club and hang out there every weekend - I'd just add a few games of tennis in before the rum punch drinking!

I used to ride horses but I would not do that as a sport now - I would be too nervous to do show jumping or cross country (those jumps are HARD when you fall off and crash into them! ) and I am too stiff now to be good at dressage.

Gymnastics or figure skating. I always pretended to be one of the two when I was little.
