Wow, 150 comments! Who knew this would spark such a discussion? Especially since so many don't even think its true! This combined with that strange python news story in Canada has made me quite nervous about snakes in our room though.

Samuel Jackson or Muppets might work. But for some reason this thread has put me more in mind of Mel Brooks:

Spaceballs

LOL! My daughter was in Disney's Jungle Book Jr. as a school play. She played Shanti, a girl who narrates the story, and her best friend played Kaa the snake (or the head of the snake) and she sang an awesome song.

just because 2 wdw employees havem't/didn't hear about it is no reason to not believe OP,OP has no reason to lie about it & it has too many details to be fake, i totally believe it could have happened,it's fl we have snakes everywhere, whether people see them or not,it was probably slithering along, fell & bit down trying to catch itself after the fall, that's gonna freak a snake out just as much as the person,so it probably curled into a ball in the floor area, until later on when whomever found it.just my two cents

Um, okay, you can believe what you want and I (and others) can believe what I/we want. There's also no reason to believe what she says is true. That works both ways. The uncle who works in the legal dept would know, but I'm amazed how many people are so quick to believe this. It's why urban legends spread like wild fire because some people always think "well, it could happen". The "facts" the OP posted are also questionable. Was the snake poisonous? If so, a hospital visit would have been a several days stay. If it wasn't poisonous, it more than likely couldn't have bitten through clothing, bitten the clothing, but not through to the skin. Even venomous snakes aren't likely to bit through clothing. Most fangs/teeth just aren't that long. Every snake bite I know of personally was on bare skin. Usually on the foot/leg or arm like the boy talked about earlier. Just a couple of questionable things.

Once again, why is it so important to some people that the OP be telling the truth? I'm just not that gullible and go with my gut which is pretty much always right.

And, on the chance the OP comes back with real proof and I'm wrong, I'll admit it.

Last night I was horrified and could not sleep. Tonight I can't stop laughing! This is better than watching tv!

I still say Jimmy Kimmel is behind this whole thing!

Except for the fact that this is an OLD Urban Myth.

There are many reasons this is suspect (other than the Urban LEGEND LEGACY), but I don`t believe it for the simple reason that in this day and age of social media there is NOTHING about it. No one talking about medical personnel at SM, no one complaining SM was closed during peak time, no CMs talking about snake wrangling, and no rumor-mongering about the new 4D effects on SM.

When the drunk patron went nuts at ToT in Disneyland, it was EVERYWHERE. And so many anti-Mouse people would grab onto this story and run with it.

As an aside, I agree Mel Brooks can do wonders with this, and I totally see Rick Moranis as the voice of Dark Serpent
