Same with us. We get the DxDP, so we have plenty of credits and try to hit all of our must see characters at breakfast buffets.

We usually do not eat a breakfast. We usually wake up, start getting around to go to the parks. We might buy a box of donuts or something from the hotel or maybe get some things on a single trip to the grocery story or even bring some stuff from home. That holds us over. Then we try to do a lunch at like 11 or so. This holds us through until dinner. Good luck

Thanks, guys. I'm thinking we'll play it by ear, but take breakfast items that won't have to be refrigerated.

I read somewhere that it is almost impossible to make it to an ADR breakfast at another resort from POR before 8/8:30? Any truth to that? We have one at 7:50 at the poly

I would have picked "all of the above" also.

Often I will order a side of eggs - it's not on the menu but it's a snack credit or cheap if you're paying OOP. Sometimes my DH and I will split a breakfast platter for 1 CS credit, and ask for an extra Mickey waffle instead of a waffle & a biscuit. There's plenty for two.

We bring PopTarts, Fig Newtons, etc. but honestly with all the desserts (you can ask for them to go) and snacks on the plan we usually have an uneaten stockpile in the fridge by the last day. You can get fruit for dessert/ snack as well, which with a side of eggs would be a good breakfast for the OP on Paleo.

We stay for 14 nights and like to mix it up a bit, we will usually have 2 character breakfasts and a few counter service. We buy a loaf of bread for days we are in rush and dont fancy much to make some toast then have lunch a bit earlier than usual. When we have character breakfast we tend to not want lunch and have a snack instead

We like grand floridian cafe and kona cafe for a sit down breakfast, THE WAVE for a buffet breakfast (oop) which is the most reasonable and convenient if going to mk that day since its right at the contemporary resort. If it just something quick we just eat at the resort or get a cinnamon roll in mk using a snack credit.

We mix it up too. Last trip we had enough quick service left over on last day to get breakfast at our food ct , we drove so we all grabbed a drink for the ride home. During our stay I would stand in line twice (lines we're not long at 645 am) I got whatever I wanted to pay oop first, milk, cereal, then went back and grabbed cinnamon rolls etc and used my snack credit. It was easier for me to keep track of it in my head that way. I let everyone sleep until I get back, take their bfast orders the night before then get them up and fed and out the door.

We do a combination of things. This year we're doing one character breakfast but the rest of the time the kids will eat a banana and frozen waffle on the way out of the hotel room. Don't worry, we'll microwave it for them.

I have late lunches and a couple of character/experience dinners. The QS meals fill in the gaps and the snack is usually how I induce a bit of sugar rush to keep us in the parks a little longer. I know, I'm bad... but it's Disney, it's expensive and my kids don't get sugar often or caffeine ever. I'm totes not above giving the 7 year old a coke a cola and a cupcake at 8:30 after I paid for the Halloween party.

I like a smoothie myself, I'll probably pack my blender and buy some fruit and almond milk on the way down. So, if you're not flying a blender is a good way to throw together a few smoothies as well.

Can't get more flexible than OOP (unless you are Gumby).

I picked other. We in almost all breakfasts in the room, but we don't bring anything from home. We either rent a car for the trip and stop at a grocery store on the way to WDW, or we make a Garden Grocer order and have our breakfast items delivered the first day. We are typically rope drop people so this gives us a little something to eat to get through to lunch, and doesn't take up too much morning time.
This trip we have a few leisurely days planned and I've booked us a breakfast at Whispering Canyon for one. I'm looking forward to it. I made it later in the day so we can sleep in and it will hold us over to an early dinner.
