Welcome!!! Plan a little extra money in your budget for rebooking onboard. You will get a 10% discount plus a little onboard credit on your next cruise. The deposit for the next cruise will only be 10% onboard rather than the usual 20% and you can book a 3 day as far out as you can and then transfer all those savings to a cruise you really want to take.

I will add you to the FE group!

Hello and welcome!

My name is Jay and my (much) better half is Katie.

This will be our first visit to Grand Cayman so I won't be much help with advice there. However, DW and I are big fans of the martini tastings so I can steer you in the right direction there! As a matter of fact, we did the martinis twice on or last cruise as Alex (on the Dream) promised different recipes. She delivered. You can't book any tastings/classes (martini, mixology, tequila/margarita, beer, wine, whiskey- I know I'm missing some...) ahead of time. DW and I usually make a beeline for guest services on boarding and book a couple (really! just a couple!) . We're planning a little meeting on the first afternoon so we can compare notes. Hopefully we can hit some of the same tastings. We did that with our FE group last July and it was a blast.

Looking forward to meeting you too!

Also, Pooh_Girl, ppruett1, or any others with second seating, I am open to linking for dining. I will run the disclaimer that we are not traveling with our boys (this is a surprise to DW for our anniversary- no she doesn't know yet) so it will just be us adults. Children do not bother us at all but we do enjoy the occasional cocktail or two. We're not drunks but may show up with a relaxed grin- particularly after a tastings.

Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Hello Peeps! Just booked this cruise using the MTO discount! (Moms retired) It will be 8 of us on this cruise; we have 2 connecting rooms. Does anyone have any experience with sailing in Nov? We have sailed on the Dream and the Magic during Spring Break. (both times) How cold will it be?

We are so excited to be sailing on the "new" Magic! We just booked today when the Florida resident rates came out. We've sailed on all 4 ships and can't wait to sail on the Magic again. We are retirees living our dream on the gulf coast about 2 hours from WDW. Previous Disney cruises:
Wonder - 7-2006 (our 40th wedding anniversary)
Dream - 7-2011 (our 45th wedding anniversary(
Magic - 4-2012
Dream - 9-2012
Fantasy - 10-2012
Fantasy - 5-2013

Can't wait for this cruise!!!

Booked this cruise tonight. Need to be sleeping because I have to be at work at 7:00. Too excited to sleep! We booked using the MTO rate. This will be my 5th cruise with Disney and hubby's 4th. We will be doing a B2B next May. Looking forward to being on the Magic. Have cruised on the Dream and the Wonder.

DH and I are on the late dining and would like to link. We are in stateroom 6522. Let me know if you need our names to link. We are interested in the FE, would love to do a tasting of anything alcoholic while onboard Am looking forward to meeting folks in the Promenade Lounge at 3 on the first day. In case you all didn't notice, I am really excited about cruising again. First cruise on the Magic. Next November hope to cruise on the Fantasy to complete all four ships.

This is the only thing stopping me, I have till tonight to decided. We have been to cozumel and not to impressed, never to gran cayman though. Can I find a great beach to make up for castaway??

Pooh Girl is doing that. She will need a PM with your full name and your reservation number to get you linked up.

We are sad no Castaway Cay also. But....2 sea days AND we will be aboard the newly redone Magic, AND we will get Disney service. How can you go wrong at these prices?

Your mom was able to get two rooms and for extended family. We always sail military and get two rooms but because we have a family 2 adults 3 kids they allow it. I was under the impression I could not get the MTO deal for my extended family??

You can find a good beach club on either stop. It won't be Castaway but still nice

They said we could do it because 2 people that lives in my mom's household would be in the other room. Not everyone could fit in one room, so we had to get two rooms. They gave us the discount for both rooms. It came out to about 1,300 per room with 4 people in each room.
